As part of the merger between Assiniboine Credit Union, Westoba Credit Union and Caisse Financial Group, MAXA Financial will be coming together with Outlook Financial under the Outlook Financial brand. As a result, effective October 12, 2026, MAXA Financial products will convert to Outlook Financial products.

Investment products

Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs) interest rates and term lengths will remain unchanged until they mature. At maturity, you will be able to choose from Outlook Financial's available investment options.

Other important changes

  • First Home Savings Accounts (FHSAs) will be available with both Variable Savings Account and GIC options.
  • Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) withdrawals will no longer incur a withdrawal fee. Fees for transferring funds to another financial institution will continue to apply.
  • Interac e-Transfers will not be available from TFSA accounts. Transfers must be completed through a non-registered High Interest Savings Account.
  • The option to transfer funds to a Westoba account will no longer be available.
