When you open a registered account with Outlook Financial—such as an RRSP, RRIF, TFSA, or an FHSA—you agree to the Declaration of Trust for that account. This agreement outlines how your account is managed, your rights, and the responsibilities of the trustee.

It’s important to review your Declaration of Trust regularly, as updates may be made from time to time. We recommend reviewing your declaration at least once a year to stay informed of any changes.

What is the Declaration of Trust?

The Declaration of Trust is a legal agreement between you, the plan holder, and Concentra Trust, the organization that oversees registered investments for Outlook Financial.
  • Record keeping and account management
  • Withdrawals and transfers
  • Borrowing and contribution rules
  • What happens to your account upon your death

In short, it explains how your registered account is managed and your rights as a plan holder.
